West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to call for Manuel Lanzini to be sold after it was reported that Juventus are interested in the Argentine.

West Ham fan Twitter account @whufc_news relayed information reported by Team Talk that Italian champions Juventus are potentially interested in making a move for the midfielder.

This tweet then led to some West Ham fans sharing their views on whether the club should let Lanzini go or not.

Here’s a sample of West Ham fans willing to let Lanzini leave the club:

The 26-year-old, who is valued at £18 million (per Transfermarkt), has made 10 appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, producing three assists but is yet to score any goals (per Transfermarkt). In those 10 appearances, Lanzini has only played the full 90 minutes five times, often getting substituted in the latter stages of games (per Transfermarkt).

Despite featuring in almost every League game for the East-London club so far this season, there are some Hammers fans that would be happy to see the Argentine leave the club after a run of poor performances.

What do we think?

If these rumours are true that Juventus want Lanzini, then the West Ham fans would be silly to get rid of one of their most creative players just because he is going through a dry spell at the moment. Lanzini has already hit the same number of League appearances this year as he made in all of last season (WhoScored), but his pass success percentage is lower this year than what it was at the end if last year, 87.1% this year to last year’s 89.6% (per WhoScored).
