West Ham have made an official bid for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Marca.
The Spanish news outlet claim West Ham have moved for the Moroccan despite the player not wanting to sign for a “second-row” club like the Hammers.
It seems like a waste of time to be officially moving for a player who has absolutely no interest in signing for us, with time better spent trying to buy players who would have a realistic interest in joining the David Moyes revolution.
En-Nesyri has previously told Sevilla that has no interest in leaving the club anytime soon and asked them to reject any approaches for him in the near future, which further backs up the belief that chasing him is probably a waste of the club’s time.
And West Ham fans don’t seem to be surprised by these latest reports, while others are clearly offended by what he’s reportedly said about the club; here are some West Ham fans’ reactions on Twitter…
West Ham have returned with an offer for Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri with Sevilla open to selling the forward to raise funds for transfers.
However, the 23 year old doesn’t want to join a “second row” club like us and wants to stay at Sevilla.

I said I didn’t want him from the start, now his trying to mug us off, we’ve had so many strikers from abroad that haven’t worked out, we need a striker from the Prem or the championship
