When asked if recalling Grady Diangana from West Bromwich Albion would be a ‘Good or bad thing?’ these West Ham United fans appear to have a certain view.
Manuel Pellegrini hasn’t mentioned a potential January recall – based on this article from Birmingham Mail, however it appears chatter regarding the matter has started to emerge.
Diangana has played a whopping 828 minutes in the Championship this season, and what’s even more impressive is the four goals and three assists over the course of nine appearances in England’s second-tier, as per WhoScored’s data.
1. Talk is that we are recalling Grady Diangana From West Brom in January , Good or bad thing?

Many of the fans are happy to keep him at West Brom where he’s guaranteed minutes, which gives him the perfect platform to progress and learn, which should allow for him to be ready for next season.
The 21-year-old has an impressive WhoScored average rating of 7.26/10.
West Brom are currently top of the Championship, scoring a total of 26 goals; the second-highest in the league. So the young midfielder would appear to be in safe hands under former Hammers boss Slaven Bilic, so, perhaps Irons fans should be happy with him playing every week in a team with that kind of quality in the final third of the pitch.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the question can be seen below:
Bad. We made a mistake loaning him out in the first place, let’s not make another one by recalling him. He’s getting loads of minutes and playing well, neither of which are guaranteed at West Ham.
This issue isn’t we miss Diangana, it’s the current lot need to perform better.

It’s wrong to interrupt a youngsters progression in any circumstance it’s only going to be detrimental to him in the long run. Although we may think we need him it would be wise to leave him out there at West Brom.

Bad. Let him get the whole season under his belt, and what are the chances he actually plays consistently?

I think it’s bad for him, he’s doing so well there and bilic is the right manager to help with his development. Board avoiding not spending in January then, imagine my shock (joke)
