Many West Ham United fans have reacted to Sam Inkersole’s tweet discussing the remaining length of player contracts.
Pablo Zabaleta and Carlos Sanchez are the two contracts that expire at the end of the current season in 2020.
However, contracts for key players such as Robert Snodgrass (one-year option included), Mark Noble and Michail Antonio all expire in 2021 – according to football.london.
If West Ham want to keep a big crop of players past the end of the 2021 season, they’ll have to get a move on and get them new deals. https://t.co/NnGioXZyla

The fans reaction was a mixed one, but many of them were critical of the current performances we are seeing from some of the aforementioned players.
One fan even questioned whether the club will be rushing to renew the contracts given the current form. This may be a little extreme when looking at some of the names on the list, but an individual such as Carlos Sanchez who has only played 14 minutes this season, may have to start weighing up his options.
The Irons fans, at least, can feel safe in the knowledge that current top goalscorer Sebastien Haller is locked down till 2024 – according to football.london.

Seems like a lot of deadwood should be leaving next summer then! Good to bring funds in and make the team better

If @WestHam want to keep them they’re going to need a reason to stay.
The way this season is shaping up, we’re going to lose some if not all.— Mick (@geoffpeters224) October 28, 2019
Don’t Care just like the players don’t!

As long as Fabianksi, Diop, Rice & Haller are locked down that’s all the matters.
The rest are all very slow or very average we could replace with them ease.— Kris Johnson (@kjohno10) October 29, 2019
