Lukasz Fabianski was clearly frustrated with West Ham’s 1-0 Premier League defeat to Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.

The Polish shot-stopper was powerless to stop Taiwo Awoniyi’s winner in the first-half, with the ball ricocheting off the striker’s knee and into the net from six yards following a deflection off Ben Johnson.

In fact, the 37-year-old put in another superb performance between the sticks for the Hammers, making five saves over the course of the 90 minutes.

At the other end of the pitch, West Ham’s attacking players struggled to break newly-promoted Forest down and despite having a goal unfairly ruled out by VAR, failed to making any of their 19 shots on goal count.

And Fabianski took to Instagram shortly after the defeat to vent his frustration, posting the comment “game of wasted chances” alongside an image of him pulling off one of his saves at the City Ground.
