Said Benrahma took to Instagram to thank fans for their support following West Ham’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Algeria international had a first-half goal unfairly ruled out by VAR for a foul in the build-up but was a constant threat down the left throughout the game, taking three shots and making four key passes.
It was one of Benrahma’s better games in claret and blue but the winger was left frustrated at the full-time whistle as the Hammers made it two defeats from two at the start of the new Premier League season.
However, Benrahma posted to Instagram shortly afterwards, commenting: “Frustrating result but we will never give up. Thank you fans for the amazing support today.”
