West Ham remain locked in negotiations with Lazio for the services of Brazil winger Felipe Anderson but it seems they’re looking to also capture his team-mate.
The Daily Mail (13/06, 16:48) state the Hammers are considering a move for left-back Jordan Lukaku – the brother of Manchester United striker Romelu.
Manuel Pellegrini has already bolstered his defensive options on the right with the acquisition of Ryan Fredericks, who arrived on a free transfer from newly-promoted Fulham, and has now turned his attention to other areas of the defence.
West Ham already have Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku on the left-side but questions have emerged about the ability of the former, while Masuaku has often impressed in a more attacking role.
23-year-old Lukaku, capped seven times by Belgium, has not featured for the Red Devils since 2016 and, starting just ten games for Lazio last season, may eye a transfer in order to secure more regular first-team opportunities.
