West Ham fans have been concerned about the delays in a deal for one highly-rated attacking ace but it seems an agreement has finally been reached.
CalcioMercato state the Hammers and Italian side Lazio have agreed a deal worth €40m for Brazil ace Felipe Anderson, who is set to become Manuel Pellegrini’s fourth signing.
Pellegrini has already captured Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski and Issa Diop to bolster his defensive line at the London Stadium and Anderson’s arrival would improve their ranks at the other end of the field.
The Hammers were overly reliant on Player of the Year Marko Arnautovic last term, who scored 11 Premier League goals in his debut campaign, and Anderson will provide attacking support to the Austria international.
The 25-year-old winger, capped once by Brazil, scored four goals and provided seven assists in 21 Serie A appearances last term – also adding three goals and three assists in Lazio’s Europa League campaign.
