Sam Allardyce’s position as West Ham manager has been scrutinised like never before following a run of poor results and frustrating performances so far this season.

With just two wins from our opening 12 Premier League fixtures and a severe lack of potency in attack, questions are being asked of Allardyce’s ability to turn things around.

Having to go without record-signing and star player Andy Carroll hasn’t helped matters, which is obvious, but his inability to identify and sign a suitable back up has made fans even angrier at the club’s current position in the league and the poor performances that they have paid so much money to watch.

There’s no question that Allardyce has brought the club some memorable moments since arriving at the club in the summer of 2011. Promotion back to the Premier League via a Wembley play-off final and wins over Chelsea and Tottenham are highlights that stand out but, with a move to the Olympic Stadium looming, can the club afford to be struggling at the bottom of the Premier League with no indication or threat of improving?

A quick search Twitter gave us more of idea of what the feeling is among Hammers fans, and it’s not good…

What do you think? Is it time the board replaced Allardyce with a manger worthy of taking West Ham in to the Olympic Stadium, or does he deserve more time to put things right? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below.
