It’s perhaps quite ridiculous that we’re currently debating who the suitable candidates should be to replace Sam Allardyce if or when he leaves the club.

But there’s no hiding away from the fact that, if results don’t start improving in the next couple of weeks, Big Sam could be shown the door by David Gold and David Sullivan. There appears to be a large number of supporters who will be glad to see the back of him, while others are equally eager to see him remain at the club and turn things around.

Allardyce’s managerial credentials point to an imminent revival and another mid-table finish but, as the weeks fly by, there comes a point when you have to wonder whether we can afford to take such a risk. With a move to the Olympic Stadium on the agenda, it is vitally important that we are not only a Premier League club, but also one challenging in the top half of the division at the very least.

Is Sam Allardyce the manager to ensure that happens? Or would one of the below be a better option for us?

  1. harry redknapp would be my choice ( it was at the end of last season ) i am sure he would get extra from joe cole , ravel morrison , stuart downing ( he tried several times to buy him at spurs ) etc , sam done his job in getting us back and keeping us up but thats it staying up is no longer what most hammers fans want , and with the squad we have , top 10 is were we should be now ,

  2. Statistics jj2388 can be made to suit the person making them mate. Remember this Sam who is a dinasour on football and called our club when asked the question stated when was the last time the west ham way won anything and this is by a coach who scrapped us up with a lucky win against Blackpool playing the most expensive team in the championship. I watched this dross from our sams clueless game plans and felt lucky we just got up. Now his football which has won him zero in his career has us at relegation spots again through his incompetence . Roeder and grant are the only two worse and maybe macari runs him close other than that take a good look at the football and not how many points his got compared to the others as Trevor would have finished top in taking statistics as a guide. Good luck and agree to disagree but for me and thousands who never wanted this Sam at our club from day one I’m hoping the board wake up after the next loss from this dinasour who’s ruined our club and ticket sales are now at an all time low compared to season ticket holders waiting for someone to drop out on the waiting list. Ever wonder why? IMO.

  3. Go as soon as possible have the transport to drop him off in Midlands. Di Matteo bilic harry but Tony f wouldn’t let him go even Holloway or a chancy di canio anyone of many more that preaches trains and loves football not anti football no strikers one plan only nothing ever one self ego coaches like our third worst coach at west ham now.
