Recent rumours in the media have linked West Ham United with a swoop for Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario.
There are widespread reports with most claiming that the Hammers are interested in taking the midfielder on loan for the rest of the season.
Since this news broke out, some media outlets are claiming that Mario has rejected the Hammers in favour of staying with Inter Milan.
The Portugal international has endured a frustrating season at the San Siro and West Ham are hoping to offer him a temporary escape route.
The 24-year-old has played just 15 games in all competitions for Inter Milan this season and nine of his 14 Serie A outings have come from the bench.
Mario has three assists but no goals to his name this season.
West Ham fans were discussing this possible signing on Twitter and opinion was divided over whether David Moyes should make a swoop.
Here is a selection of the best responses after West Ham fans heard of our reported interest in Mario.

OUT: Carroll & Sakho.
IN: Dendoncker, Joao Mario & Adama Traore.
I’d happily take that. Shame about our owners though, right? #WHUFC
