Andriy Yarmolenko has had his struggles with injury at West Ham United, but things have certainly picked up for him this season.

He got his second goal of the campaign against Manchester United on Sunday, floating in and out of the offside trap, before receiving a pass from Felipe Anderson and burying it in the bottom corner, as shown in the highlights video on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.

Many Hammers fans have been enjoying watching the Ukrainian and it seems as though he has felt that:

Another sign of the 29-year-old’s effectiveness in the final third is that he has averaged 1.2 key passes per game in the 4 Premier League starts and 1 substitute appearance he has made, as per WhoScored.

It has been especially important for him to step up recently, with Michail Antonio currently out injured.

He has certainly taken his opportunity to show the skill and capability he has on the ball, which was also evident in his goal against Norwich City, when he adjusted quickly to volley the ball past Tim Krul.
