Sometimes you are shown something which makes you appreciate what you once took for granted.

That has been the case for many West Ham fans, as a video coming out of Uganda depicted a Namutumba kids team player getting his mate to draw ‘Noble 16’ on his back.

There will be many a kid who has grown up with Noble’s name and number on their back, but most of them will have it printed on their new shirt, rather than written onto their skin.

When professional boxer and West Ham supporter Mark Little saw this, he wanted to help make that a possibility for the child:

Before too long, the mission of getting his Noble West Ham shirt was completed, thanks to Jack Sullivan:

Though the efforts didn’t stop there; as ExWHUEmployee and many other West Ham fans wanted to get the whole team kitted out.

So the West Ham insider has set up a JustGiving page to help make this possible:

West Ham fans have come together to help numerous causes, with Isla’s Fight being one of the big recent examples, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to see lots of Hammers getting involved with this.

The target was to raise £1,000, but that was surpassed in less than 24 hours, though Ex has said any excess can go towards equipment for the team or helping other good causes.

If you would like to donate, you can do so at the JustGiving page.
