Angelo Ogbonna has been rewarded with a place in the FIFA 22 Team of the Week for his winning goal against Everton last weekend.
The Italian stalwart rose highest to head home the winner in a 1-0 victory at Goodison Park, securing his first goal of the season on his 199th first-team appearance for the Hammers.
It is his fifth Special Card in FIFA history, adding to his two places in the Team of the Week last term.
Ogbonna is the second West Ham player to receive a FIFA 22 Special Card in the last five days, after Issa Diop was awarded a UEFA Europa League ‘Road to the Knockouts’ card last Friday.
West Ham are becoming no strangers to FIFA Special Cards, after receiving them on 14 different occasions last season, including Tomas Soucek’s Premier League Team of the Season card and eleven Team of the Week nominations.
