Former West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic has revealed that he would return to east London with ‘no worries‘ if the club wanted him back.
In a live video on Hammers full-back Arthur Masuaku’s Instagram, Arnautovic was spotted in the comments with a surprise message towards the Claret and Blue hierarchy.
The Austria international departed London Stadium last summer in favour of a big-money move to China after signing a new contract with West Ham in January.
Arnautovic scored 22 goals and registered 12 assists in 65 appearances for West Ham before moving to Shanghai SIPG, where he boasts an impressive record of 10 goals and three assists in 16 matches.
However, the 30-year-old – who turns 31 in three days – left the club and fans distraught, but both have since moved on; exemplified by the £45million summer-signing of Sebastien Haller.
On the video, Arnautovic commented ‘Tell them that [if] West Ham need me, I come bro no worries,’ which has sparked plentiful reaction on social media…
Naa hard pass on you Arnie. Stay in China. Could of been a folk hero at West Ham, but you turned that down for the money. Just goes to show, what is money in the situation we are now in.

I'd have him loan, wouldn't trust him with a proper contract

And I want to be a millionaire but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen
