It’s fair to say Declan Rice is becoming one of the best midfielders in the world.

Not only is he West Ham’s best player, he’s also a key member of Gareth Southgate’s England side and was instrumental in the Three Lions reaching the Euro 2020 final last summer.

And last weekend, in the Hammers’ 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on New Year’s Day, Rice became the youngest player in West Ham history to make 150 Premier League appearances.

That’s an impressive feat for a 22-year-old who just seems to be getting better and better with every game.

His full record since his Hammers debut in 2017 reads eight goals and nine assists in 169 first-team appearances and hopefully we can look forward to seeing him make another 170 odd appearances in claret and blue in the future.

To celebrate Rice’s milestone, West Ham posted a picture of him celebrating on Instagram with the caption: “The youngster player to make 150 Premier League appearances for us.”
