West Ham are pushing for the signature of a captain from one of Europe’s big clubs this summer, with Slaven Bilic a keen admirer.
FutbolArena claim Bilic is eyeing the services of Trabzonspor captain Onur Recep Kivrak this summer, with the Croatian boss knowing the 29-year-old goalkeeper from his days in Turkey.
Kivrak, who has represented Trabzonspor for the past decade, is being eyed as a potential new number one for the Hammers; as Darren Randolph has unimpressed recently, whilst Adrian looks set to depart.
The experienced goalkeeper boasts an impressive five clean sheets across his last eight league games and Trabzonspor will sell for the right price– although they won’t approve a bargain deal.
Trabzonspor are in a tricky financial situation, which helps West Ham’s chances of a deal, and the player nicknamed ‘butterfly’ due to his incredible saves could prove to be a huge addition for the Hammers.
The 29-year-old would certainly be affordable too, as TransferMarkt values his services at £5.1m.
