West Ham are set for changes between the sticks this summer and they could see one of their goalkeepers leave.
Spaniard Adrian was recalled by Slaven Bilic for Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Everton but the stopper doesn’t seem to have a future ahead of him at the London Stadium.
30-year-old Adrian has featured just 15 times for the Hammers this season, with Bilic often selecting Darren Randolph ahead of him, but West Ham did opt to activate a 12-month extension in his contract.
However, The Daily Mirror says La Liga duo Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol are exploring the option of bringing the Spaniard back to his homeland this summer.
Athletic have seen young Kepa Arrizabalaga impress between the sticks this season but need competition to the 22-year-old, with long-serving Gorka Iraizoz set to move on elsewhere or retire.
Meanwhile, Espanyol need a new goalkeeper as current loanee Diego Lopez is due to return to AC Milan this summer and, although the Serie A outfit may sell permanently, the Catalan side need to keep their options open.
