One of Manuel Pellegrini’s biggest areas to improve this summer is between the sticks, with West Ham actively searching the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper.
England international Joe Hart failed to impress during his loan stint at the club from Manchester City, while Adrian also struggled for consistency and has been linked with a return to Spain.
As such, the Hammers are pushing for new recruits and have been widely linked with Swansea City’s Lukasz Fabianski – who has informed the club he wants to leave following their relegation to the Championship.
West Ham are said to have seen a bid rejected for both the Poland international and defender Alfie Mawson last week, with The Sun adding the Hammers will have to pay £7m to land former Arsenal man Fabianski.
That fee is certainly affordable for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and could prove to be a bargain piece of business for the summer ahead.
