West Ham United are already looking ahead to this summer and are looking to get their transfer business done sooner rather than later.

The Hammers are very keen on adding a new right back and they have today taken a big step towards securing one.

According to an exclusive report by The Sun, West Ham United have tabled a lucrative offer for Manchester City full back Pablo Zabaleta after initially flirting with his team mate Bacary Sagna.

Pablo Zabaleta is out of contract this summer and will leave Manchester City unless a new deal can be struck.

The veteran defender will be offered £100,000 per week to swap the Etihad Stadium for the London Stadium and team up with West Ham.

The East London outfit will offer Zabaleta a two year deal in an attempt to persuade the 32-year-old to join the club and act as a mentor for young and improving right back Sam Byram.

Zabaleta would bring some much needed experience to that role, boasting over 250 appearances for Manchester City and more than 50 caps for Argentina.

The Argentinian right back will assess his options in the summer with West Ham hoping to lure the two-time Premier League winner to the club.
