Ever since he joined the club Adrian has been one of the fans’ favourites.
The Spanish stopper’s passion is one of the main reasons why he’s loved so much by the fans, but his ability between the sticks has improved tenfold since he joined and he’s been one of the most impressive ‘keepers in the Premier League over the last year.
After every positive result West Ham fans on Twitter eagerly await Adrian’s first tweet, which most of the time praises the fans and his teammates.
And today he took to Twitter to praise Saturday’s travelling Hammers faithful with a lovely picture of him celebrating with them at Selhurst Park.
But it’s his choice of words that has got Hammers fans loving him even more. He calls the fans ‘my Hammers’ which is exactly what we are.
The man is an absolute dream and exactly the kind of player we all love at the club. Passion, class and determination are all we ask for from our players. The Spaniard is one of many at the club who tick all the boxes at the moment…
