After the elation of the victory against Tottenham Hotspur the other evening, yesterday’s result was tough to take.
West Ham confirmed their safety with a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium and the impressive performance gave fans hope that a corner had been turned.
And for a little while in the first half, it looked like we might get a decent result against Liverpool too.
However, a first half goal from Daniel Sturridge opened the floodgates.
As has happened so often this season, our players waved the white flag and surrendered, allowing Liverpool to run riot in a non-contest.
4-0 was a flattering scoreline by the end and West Ham fans were dejected and disappointed with the performance.
The good news is that there is only one game left before this disastrous season comes to a close and we are still a Premier League club.
In the meantime, this is how West Ham fans reacted to the 4-0 home loss against Liverpool.
if we're forgetting performances like that then I'll only remember about 3 games this season
