Major changes are expected at West Ham this summer and it could lead to Javier Hernandez leaving just one season after his arrival.
The Mexico international has struggled for consistency following his return to the Premier League from Bayer Leverkusen and speculation surrounding his future has orientated over his head since the January window.
Hernandez failed to find his feet back in English football, overshadowed by the fine performances of Marko Arnautovic, and has now suggested he still has a decision to make on his future.
Speaking ahead of a friendly with Wales, the striker said he will make his decision after the World Cup and Hammers fans were split with their reactions.
Some were angry about the comments, while others were understanding of his situation – although it’s pretty clear he’ll have to win over Manuel Pellegrini if he’s to remain at the London Stadium.
We’ve collected some of the best reactions below.
Hernandez (on his future at West Ham) “Of course I am a West Ham player still, but we’ll see” and when he was asked if Pellegrini was a good appointment, he replied “I don’t know”. Moyes has ruined him, ffs. Please stay Chichaaaa… #COYI

This is fair enough. You know people are just going to ask him stupid questions like this to bait him into making a headline when there's really nothing to report.
His mind SHOULD be on the World Cup over West Ham, for now. Mine sure would be.

I hope he has a great World Cup and then we sell him. We should’ve done the same with Payet after the Euros. Certainly he can finish in the box, but does he fit in to Pellegrini system? I was very disappointed with his touch last season.

That’s what happen when you treat a quality international poorly and have a personal vendetta against him.

Hopefully will have a cracking world cup and then either be back in team or sold for £s
