Mark Noble‘s performances for West Ham this season have arguably been the best of his career so far, putting in 110% week in, week out for the club he loves just as much as we do.

Over the last few years I have been calling for Noble to earn a deserved call-up to the England squad, but to this day it’s all been in vain as the likes of Tom Cleverley earn calls up for what appears to be purely on the basis that he plays for Manchester United.

But a quick look at Squawka.com’s new stats comparison matrix shows Noble is well worthy of an England call-up if Jordan Henderson, Tom Cleverley, Adam Lallana and Jack Wilshere are also going to be considered.

The stats below suggest it’s time for England, and mainly Roy Hodgson, to start looking at England’s in-form players and not those who are playing for the Premier League’s bigger teams….
