We’re two weeks into West Ham‘s pre-season and all seems well at Rush Green.

The players have enjoyed a week in Scotland and then a week in Evian, before returning to east London over the weekend to continue their preparations for the new campaign.

Today, the first team players and new signings who were given extended leave due to their international commitments in June, with the likes of Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal, Jarrod Bowen and Nikola Vlasic all reporting for duty.

And Nayef Aguerd, Alphonse Areola and our newest recruit, Flynn Downes, were also at the training ground for the first time to get their pre-season up and running.

The Hammers beat Servette 2-0 on Friday to get their summer off to the perfect start, thanks to goals from Academy duo Aji Alese and Divin Mubama.

And on Tuesday night, the Hammers travel to Hertfordshire to take on non-league outfit Boreham Wood and Suffolk to take on Ipswich Town, in a double-header of friendlies that will see the squad split into two.

Via Instagram, the club posted loads of photos of the returning players in training on Monday morning. You can see them below…
