West Ham’s performance against Everton left a lot to be desired.
During the game they had fewer shots, aerial duels won, corners and tackles than Everton, while also having less possession and accurate passes, as per WhoScored.
Manuel Pellegrini has spoken about his disappointment regarding the performance and result on West Ham’s official channels:

The response to the quotes was one of concern from many Hammers fans, as they have taken little encouragement from the last few performances, with the Everton game included.
This extends West Ham’s winless run to four games in all competitions, with three of those being losses, as per Transfermarkt.
With Lukasz Fabianski out for an extended period and many fans being underwhelmed by the team’s performances, there seems to be concerns about the upcoming Sheffield United game.
Having had the chance to go into the top four prior to the Crystal Palace game, the Hammers are now 10th in the league ahead of Sheffield United’s match against Arsenal.

Think because we’ve had a good start that’s it we don’t have too worry about the rest of the season, been garbage last 2, Sheffield u won’t be easy, need too pull our socks up, Haller no good stuck up front on is own, should’ve started with Yarmolenko, Fornals struggling at mo

I look at our team and see a bunch of players that believe they are a lot better than they are and when they need to dig in they all look to each other saying “I’m too special to do this” we need a better defensive plan and better cover (sorry Declan) lower table finish??

That’s the worst we have played since last game against palace. Its obvious this team has over achieved and is in dire need of a proper game plan with better direction and leadership. I’m worried now that once again it’s a season of pure nothing. pic.twitter.com/QJPBNrSlpL

It keeps happening. All very poor today but special mention to our ‘creative’ players who were dreadful again. They are now all trading on past glories.

Striker, isolated and no service. Midfield lacks creativity, passion, pace and work rate. Defense, desperate for a left back and right back. Keeper lacking confidence and distribution.

Not good enough. And saying they have more energy because they needed to win more shows why we will always be average mid table at best
