West Ham United are planning to sign two new players once the January transfer window opens according to a report by Football Insider, however it appears fans aren’t quite happy with the positions being allegedly being targeted.
The article states: The Premier League club are ready to cast the net wide to strengthen Manuel Pellegrini’s side, with a centre-forward and defender the two main priorities.
There has been no mention of possibly signing a centre-midfielder, which seems to be the biggest upset amongst the fans.

Some fans feel the two positions mentioned are the only two that don’t need strengthening. However, having another centre-forward to play alongside Sebastien Haller does appear to be something that would appease certain sections of the London Stadium fanbase.
The Frenchman has failed to score in his last two games, per WhoScored, which appears to have concerned many of those that watch the Hammers on a regular basis.

MIDFIELD!!!!!!! If he has no plans to improve the midfield next summer (and by that I mean CMs, not AMs) then he doesn’t deserve a 3rd season, we needed a better midfield when he first came in!

Need a ST, RM/LM, 2 CMs, LB, RB, CB but no doubt we’ll buy another AM and GK before we address those areas.
