West Ham United earned a draw away against Tottenham Hotspur last night and it took an absolutely stunning effort from Pedro Obiang to open up the scoring.
The Hammers played out a 1-1 draw with Spurs at Wembley, two days after securing a win against West Bromwich Albion.
Both goals were stunning strikes with Son cancelling out Obiang’s opener.
With West Ham struggling to create much in the way of chances for themselves, Obiang decided to try his luck from 25 yards and the result was emphatic.
His right-footed belter rocketed into the top corner at top speed, leaving Hugo Lloris with absolutely no chance.
West Ham fans flocked to Twitter to react to this wonder strike and to share their opinions on the goal.
Many have already called this the goal of the season and here are the best responses after Obiang struck from long range against Tottenham Hotspur last night.
A rocket from earth. My God

What a fantastic goal away from home. A superb effort from the whole team. Moyes seems to created a great team spirit. They also now have plenty of guts and determination which they were lacking at the beginning of the season. COYI
