West Ham are going to offer around £10million for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll, according to Mail Online.

His season long loan deal at Upton Park was with a view to a £17million permanent deal but, due to his injuries and his goal return, the Hammers are set to re-evaluate his value and will try and tempt Liverpool with a discount offer.

However, it is believed Liverpool are hoping to use the 24-year-old England striker in a player + cash deal to sign Newcastle’s Hatem Ben-Arfa.

Carroll has scored five goals in 17 Premier League appearances for the Hammers, but has had to spend two spells on the sidelines with injury.
