West Ham have agreed a deal to bring Monaco striker Lacina Traore to Upton Park until the end of the season, according to MailOnline.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast international has recently joined Monaco from Anzhi Mackhachkala but the Ligue 1 side are prepared send him straight out on loan for the remainder of the season.

And the 6ft 8ins striker has agreed a switch to the Boleyn Ground subject to a medical and work permit.

Traore joined Anzhi in June 2012 for a reported €18million from Russian side Kuban Krasnador and went on to score 13 league goals in 29 appearances.

He most notably scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield in last season’s Europa League.
