After a vast spending spree under Manuel Pellegrini, West Ham are tipped to see a number of departures take place in the coming weeks.

The Hammers have signed seven new faces under their new boss, and remain in the hunt for further additions, and exits are likely to help balance the books.

Pedro Obiang is amongst those tipped for an exit from the London Stadium, with Serie A side Sampdoria keen on bringing the Spain midfielder back to Italian football, but they face competition from a Premier League side.

TuttoMercatoWeb states that newly-promoted Fulham are vying for the services of the 26-year-old and have made a proposal to the midfielder that is more appealing that want Sampdoria have on the table.

However, it is added that Obiang has his heart set on a return to the Italian club if he does leave the London Stadium this summer – leaving Fulham’s chances of a deal looking rather slim.
