Since breaking into the first team picture, Adrian has made the goalkeeper spot his own and does not look willing to relinquish it any time soon.
However, back-up choice Darren Randolph has not impressed since joining on a free transfer from Birmingham this summer. He was signed before we appointed Bilic and it seems that the boss would prefer another option to deputise for Adrian.
News reports have recently linked us to a move for Rob Green and this could become a reality considering QPR have just signed Alex Smithies from Huddersfield. Green enjoyed six terrific years at Upton Park and would be welcomed back with open arms if we are willing to meet his wage demands.
James Collins might be offered as bait to tempt QPR into letting us sign him or the other option involves using Randolph in a direct swap deal.
