West Ham are seriously interested in Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic, according to Hammers insider ExWHUemployee.
The reliable transfer source has confirmed that the club are interested in the Serbia international and may even look to include Felipe Anderson as a sweetener in the deal.
However, Italian journalist Paolo Bargiggia has reported that Milenkovic could be available for as little as €10m (£10.6m) this summer, with Fiorentina said to be desperate to sell the 23-year-old before the summer window closes.
If that’s the case, then there’s absolutely no reason why David Moyes shouldn’t go out and get his man as soon as possible. If Fiorentina aren’t interested in taking Felipe Anderson as part of the deal, then that shouldn’t prove to be a deal-breaker, either.
Signing a player of Milenkovic’s calibre for such a small fee would surely prove to be one of the bargain deals of the summer, and these West Ham fans are getting excited about seeing the defender in Claret & Blue next season…
Finally. SOME GOOD NEWS
