West Ham have seemed on the verge of making a mammoth attacking signing for a number of weeks but it appears a deal could finally cross the line.

The Hammers are widely reported to be in discussions with Lazio to land Felipe Anderson, who could cost as much as €40m, and a deal looks to be on the verge of completion.

Italian journalist Nico Schira has stated that Anderson is keen to join West Ham and the only agreement left for West Ham to reach with Lazio relates to the percentage of any future sale that the Serie A side will receive.

The Brazil ace, capped once by his nation, will sign a five-year deal at the London Stadium with wages worth €3.5m-a-year and his arrival will ease the pressure on Marko Arnautovic.

25-year-old Felipe Anderson made 21 Serie A appearances last term, scoring four goals and contributing seven assists, and also impressed for the Italian side in the Europa League.
