Josh Cullen has put pen to paper on a new contract with West Ham United, the midfielder confirmed on his official Twitter account.

Cullen took to Twitter to express his joy at signing new terms with West Ham and extending his stay at the London Stadium.

The promising young central midfielder signed a new deal just before heading out on loan to Bolton Wanderers alongside team mate Reece Burke.

The Hammers pair have both reunited with Phil Parkinson, having worked with him during their respective loan stints at Bradford City in the 2015/16 season.

Cullen played a big part in West Ham’s pre-season plans and many fans believed that he could play a part this year.

However, Bilic has decided to loan him out for five months before reassessing the Republic of Ireland under-21 international in January.

West Ham confirmed on their official website that the 21-year-old has penned a three year deal, keeping him at West Ham until 2020.
