Wolves right-back Dominic Iorfa is eager to sign for West Ham this summer, a member of his family has told owngoalnigeria.com.
The 21-year-old impressed in the Championship for Wolves last season, and has previously been linked with a switch to Crystal Palace.
But in an exclusive interview with owngoalnigeria.com, a family member claims Iorfa would prefer a move to east London as he would have more chance of playing regularly than if he were to sign for other interested clubs, including Arsenal and Southampton.
The source said: “It’s true Iorfa is wanted by Southampton, Arsenal and Crystal Palace but for obvious reasons he is more comfortable with a move to West Ham where he is most likely to get more playing time.
The article claims a deal to bring Iorfa to the Olympic Stadium this summer is likely, and the Hammers will have to pay a transfer fee of around £7m to get their man.
West Ham have had great success when shopping in the Championship in previous seasons, with Aaron Cresswell and Michail Antonio both becoming key players since arriving at the club, while Sam Byram is also expected to star in the near future.
Iorfa made 46 appearances in all competitions for Wolves last season, registered one assist in the process.
The youngster is valued at just £375k by Transfermarkt.com.
