I was overwhelmed with the feedback to our August issue of our new-look magazine.

Your tweets, emails, messages and the comments through our website have given the whole team such a brilliant boost.

Your opinions are so important because we are constantly looking to evolve Blowing Bubbles to ensure it continues to be West Ham’s leading magazine well into the future.

With that in mind, I’d like to introduce a new feature in this month’s issue called ‘Your Shout’ that, going forward, will give those who perhaps don’t wish to sit down and pen an article a chance to get something off their chest.

As you’ll see, the types of messages we’re already getting are varied and we look forward to receiving your correspondence for our October issue.

Our big interview this month is with George Parris. He is someone I enjoyed watching when I was a young lad and then had the pleasure to work alongside with when we headed to South Africa in 2010 on a project with the Bobby Moore Fund.

A top bloke on and off the pitch, I hope you enjoy reading his views on all things West Ham.

Another hot topic for us this month is the Winston Reid contract saga. West Ham legend Julian Dicks has made some very valid points in his monthly column that focuses on Reid while our writer Liam Newman urges the owners to give him what he wants.

Looking at our results from our opening few games, it has been a disappointing start but I have every hope, with the new signings, we can make strides against some tough opposition in the next month.
