Jarrod Bowen collected a pair of assists in West Ham’s 3-2 Premier League victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

The winger was at his very best once again as Jurgen Klopp’s side struggled to deal with his pace and energy, particularly in the second half.

It was Bowen’s driving run forwards, evading the likes of Andy Robertson, Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the process, that led to Pablo Fornals putting the Hammers 2-1 up in the 67th minute.

And then Bowen whipped in a 74th-minute corner that was met by Kurt Zouma, who happily headed home for his first goal in claret and blue to give West Ham a two-goal lead going into the final 15 minutes of the game.

And Bowen took to Instagram after the game to hail the result, the performance and to send a message to the fans. He posted: “Another massive 3 points. Atmosphere was electric, see you all after the international break.”

And fans responded underneath with comments like “what a player and “most underrated player in the league.”
