West Ham captain Declan Rice took to Instagram to recognise his midfielder partner, Tomas Soucek, after the Hammers’ 3-2 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.
The pair have developed a vital understanding in the middle of the park for the Hammers over the last two years, with both earning high praise from several top pundits and ex-players for their respective impact on West Ham’s rise under David Moyes.
And Rice posted a photo of the two in the London Stadium dressing room after that huge victory over the Reds on Sunday evening, with the comment: “Tommy boyyyyy! What a win & performance! Buzzing.”
And fans were quick to respond with comments like “massive” and “best midfield duo in the league.”
