West Ham could complete a deal for Newcastle right-back Daryl Janmaat this week, according to Shields Gazette reporter Miles Starforth.
The Hammers are in the market for defensive reinforcements at right-back, with Bilic only being able to call upon Sam Byram and Michail Antonio in that area.
Reports earlier this week claimed West Ham were interested in signing the Netherlands international, and now it seems as if a deal could be done sooner rather than later.
However, Starforth claims a deal for Janmaat will only be completed once Newcastle secure a deal for Tottenham’s DeAndre Yedlin, who was reportedly on Tyneside to complete a medical on Tuesday…

Janmaat, 27, could reportedly seal a £10m move to the Hammers, and Rafa Benitez admitted earlier this week that he would listen to offers for him before the end of the transfer window, as confirmed by The Evening Chronicle reporter Lee Ryder on Twitter…

However, Sky Sports claim Janmaat is set to have a medical ahead of a move to Watford, who have reportedly agreed a £7.5m deal for his signature.
