West Ham United are willing to splash the cash on a big player plus money offer for Jordan Pickford, reports The Sun.

According to this report, West Ham will offer Adrian and £17m to Sunderland in the hope that they will accept the bid for Pickford.

It is reported that West Ham believe that Adrian is worth £8m and the total package will come to about £25m.

Jordan Pickford was the standout performer for Sunderland despite his team finishing bottom in the Premier League.

With a number of top flight clubs – such as Everton and Manchester City – fighting for the 23-year-old’s signature, West Ham are preparing this deal to steal a march on their rivals.

The Hammers are keen to bolster their options between the sticks after both Adrian and Darren Randolph made errors last season.

Adrian regained his place in goal for the end of the season and performed well, signing a two year deal as a reward.

The Spaniard – who also won his first call-up to the national squad last season – had offers from the Spanish top tier before signing a new deal so it is unclear whether he would be willing to move to Championship-bound Sunderland in exchange for Jordan Pickford.
