The 2016/17 season has now ended and West Ham United ended up in a relatively respectable 11th place.

Given our struggles this season with adjusting to the London Stadium, caving in during games, suffering many injuries and failing to sign the right players, 11th place is not too bad.

But going into next season, we are still searching for the same thing we were looking for this time last year.

We need to sign a striker who can regularly stay fit and put the ball in the net.

This has become a real recurring problem for the Hammers and our failure to land a top striker has held us back from climbing the table.
