According to reports in Turkey, West Ham United have firmed up their interest in Papa Ndiaye by lodging a bid.

Turkish media outlet Haber Turk is reporting that West Ham have submitted a bid to sign Osmanlispor midfielder Papa Ndiaye.

The report claims that the bid is in the region of €10m, which is just shy of £9m.

Slaven Bilic is an admirer of Papa Ndiaye and wants to add him to his squad as a free scoring midfielder.

The 26-year-old netted 31 goals in 111 games for Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt before securing his move to Turkey with Osmanlispor.

During his time with Osmanlispor, Ndiaye has netted 18 goals in 75 matches.

He has been at Osmanlispor since 2015 and could now move if West Ham match his asking price.

The 8-cap Senegal international could unite with team mate Cheikhou Kouyate in the West Ham midfield next season and Ndiaye can also play as a striker.

Papa Ndiaye is a pacey winger who fits the bill as someone who can add genuine pace to the attacking midfield regions.

The versatile star can operate as a central attacking midfielder as well as being comfortable playing on both flanks.

West Ham are reportedly awaiting a reply from Osmanlispor after submitting their bid.
