West Ham fans can breathe comfortably knowing that the club’s position in the Premier League is safe for another year but comments from David Moyes have left many gasping in disbelief.
After revealing he intends to stay at the club beyond this summer and stating that he rejected the advances of another Premier League side earlier in the season, Moyes then went on to discuss the January transfer window.
The Hammers struggled to secure their prime targets in January, landing Joao Mario on-loan from Inter Milan, who has been inconsistent at best, and signing striker Jordan Hugill – who hasn’t started a match since his arrival.
Therefore, claims from Moyes that West Ham had the best January window out of any other side are certainly far from the mark – and fans wasted no time in calling the Scottish boss out on his comments in social media posts.
And some say he should be put in charge of our summer transfer window!

He needs to go. What a ridiculous thing to say. Shows how much he is towing the party line.

Time to part ways thanks for keeping us up now time to move on. The last 4 transfer windows have been a disaster with the squad shrinking.

What was the ‘world class’ lines from the board again? Still we had the best January window. Couldn’t make it up
