West Ham have been joined by Zenit St. Petersburg in the race for Juventus star Roberto Pereyra, but the Russian giants may struggle to meet his £20m price tag.
Tuttosport.com are reporting that despite Premier League interest from West Ham and Southampton, Zenit are eager to tempt the the 25-year-old to Russia.
The report claims the Hammers are willing to offer £15m for the midfielder but Juve are hoping to hold out for £20m.
However, Tuttosport.com claim Zenit would have difficulty meeting that valuation despite their eagerness to capture his signature.
Pereyra is deemed surplus to requirements by the Serie A champions this summer after making just 16 appearances for Missimiliano Allegri side last term
The Argentine signed for Juve in a £10.5m deal from Udinese last summer after a successful loan spell the season before.
During his two seasons in Turin, Pereyra scored four goals in 48 Serie A outings.
