Nicolas N’Koulou
With the inevitable departure of star defender Winston Reid, Nicolas N’Koulou is in an ideal replacement to fill the New Zealand international’s boots.
N’Koulou has been playing magnificently in the French Ligue 1 with Marseille, and he could be persuaded to come to East Londond by his fellow compatriot Alex Song, who has arguably been West Ham best player of the season so far.
Playing for Marseille since 2011, N’Koulou has been catching the eye of some of Europe’s top clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester City. He has also been involved in Champions League and Europa League since joining from AS Monaco. The question is, will N’Koulou be willing to live without European action?
