Slaven Bilic

Tottenham Hotspur v Besiktas - UEFA Europa League Group Stage Matchday Two Group C

There’s no denying that in the past, Bilic has openly admitted his interest in the West Ham manager’s post. It seems that every time a Premier League manager is sacked; Bilic is one of the first names to be linked with the vacancy. There’s one simple reason for this, he’s a good manager.

Being an ex-Hammer himself, where he accumulated 48 games between 1996 and 1997, Bilic is well renowned for being a no nonsense character, something the West Ham faithful have been longing for.

His biggest success as a manager was denying England a place in Euro 2008 as the chief of Croatia, spelling the end of Steve McClaren’s miserable reign.

As well as managing Lokomotiv Moscow and now currently at Turkish outfit Besiktas, could Bilic be tempted into having a crack at showing what he can do as a manager in England. There isn’t a better way of doing that than with West Ham.
