Michael Laudrup

West Ham United v Swansea City - Barclays Premier League

During his playing days, former FC Barcelona man Laudrup was and still is considered the best Danish player ever to grace a football pitch.

As well as playing at the Nou Camp, other clubs Laudrup has played include Lazio, Real Madrid, Juventus and Ajax. That alone just shows how good of a player Laudrup was in his hay day.

It also turns out that he isn’t bad as a manager as well. Noticing that all of the teams Laudrup played for were purely focused on playing attractive football, Laudrup has brought this into his management style, which was proven at Swansea City by winning the League Cup in 2013.

He was a quality footballer and suits the right style of management the Hammers faithful want – surely it’s a match made in heaven? The one downside to the former Getafe, Spartak Moscow and Real Mallorca boss is, on average, he fails to go beyond a two year spell at any club he has managed.

West ham would want more security and commitment.
