Since Mark Noble‘s latest England snub, fans have been wondering what an earth the midfielder can to do convince Roy Hodgson that he can add value to the squad in the World Cup this summer.
And MirrorFootball may have just uncovered the only bit of evidence Hogdson needs to give Noble a much deserved call up and spot on the plane to Brazil.
According to the tabloid, Mark Noble is statistically Europe’s 5th best penalty taker with a 100% conversion rate since 2009.
Given England’s habit of crashing out of major tournaments on penalties, there’s no remaining reason why Noble should be left out of the England squad ever again.
Call us Hammers fans deluded and bias towards our very own Nobes, but the evidence is becoming more and more solid by the week.
If I was Roy, I’d consider dropping a goalkeeper, who won’t play a single minute in Brazil, for Mark Noble and his penalty taking strengths…
England should PRAY for penalties at the World Cup, and maybe even take Mark Noble along for the ride- http://t.co/PTxnAM3zCV
