Transfers
Lots of names but no deals; definitely sums up the second half, at least, of our transfer window. However, with the striking situation becoming even worse with the possibility of Maiga leaving before the game on Saturday and a potential injury to Sakho, we really do need to act fast.
As per my Twitter account, I feel we still need four/five signings which sounds extreme, but after the performance against Bournemouth, it is obvious that depth is a problem we have unlike clubs (such as Stoke, Aston Villa, Watford) who have added quality as well as depth.
I’m sure there will be an article this week from West Ham World considering the best options to bring into the club, but I would be very happy with Moses and Yilmaz/Adebayor coming to the club, as well as the completion of the long-awaited Song deal.
It should be an exciting last seven days of the Transfer Window, that’s for sure.
